MidwaySSD is a high performance compute cluster devoted to Social Science research. With twenty one devoted nodes and 400 TB of storage, the Social Sciences Division, in collaboration with the Research Computing Center, has established MidwaySSD to offer faculty and select degree programs dedicated support for compute intensive, cutting-edge research. The cluster offers interactive sessions with a user-friendly graphical interface as well as the ability to schedule batch jobs with minimal wait times. These resources are available to all faculty within the SSD, their approved collaborators, and student research assistants.
